Even in difficult times, we can find blessings. Whenever there's a hurricane, flood, or some other disaster, people seem to come out of nowhere to offer help. Many times, working long, hard hours to rescue, rebuild, or restore. Hardship forces us to grab hands with one another and pull closer together, it generates brotherly love. Suffering never ruined a nation, and hardship doesn't break up families. Blind indifference does. When we choose to get involved and volunteer our services to someone in need, it builds character. It not only matters to the person we help, but it matters to God. He loves to see His love demonstrated by His children. That's why the Bible says in Matthew 25:39-41 “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to the least of these, My brethren, you did it to Me”. We need to do what we can to make a difference in the lives of others. Stand up, don't wait for your friends to stand up too, answer the call of God as the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart. Remember, you are never really alone, Jesus is right there beside you, guiding your every step. Choose today to make a difference.
