Christians often talk about Jesus, the Savior of the world. But when the first sign of trouble appears, they blame God, just like His disciples who panicked in the midst of the storm. Can you imagine? How could they be terrified when Jesus was on the very same boat with them? Many are just as fearful today. There is no real faith in trust because they don't understand what Christ did on Calvary. If we could fully comprehend the depth of God's love for us, this world would be a different place. Jesus died for us. There is no deeper love that could possibly be demonstrated, no greater sacrifice, Jesus is our reason to live. He is our everything. He loves us more than anyone else possibly could. He gave his life so that we can have eternal life with Him. Jesus not only saved us from our sins, but He wants to transform us so that we can become more like Him. He wants us to love Him with our whole hearts. He is the real deal. We can trust Him to be our Healer, Conqueror, Deliverer, Comforter, Encourager, Counselor, Savior and Friend. Oh, that we can all reach the place where we can truly say, Jesus, you are my everything.
Psalm 73:25-26 KJV - Whom have I in heaven [but thee]? and [there is] none upon earth [that] I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Psalm 63:3 KJV - Because thy lovingkindness [is] better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
Acts 17:28 KJV - For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
