Everywhere you turn you simply can’t escape the pain, suffering and death in this sinful world. It can be so discouraging that your heart feels heavy and weary under the load. When you struggle with finding the words to even describe how you feel, turn to Isaiah 41:10 where it says; “Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” When life seems too heavy to bear - give your troubles to the greatest burden-bearer of all, Jesus Christ! Instead of plunging ahead trying to fix our own problems, pray for strength and patience to wait upon the Lord. Claim God’s promise in Isaiah 40:29, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Push away all negative thoughts, and hold on to God’s promise in Nehemiah 8:10, “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Isaiah 41:10 KJV - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 40:31 KJV - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

Philippians 4:13 KJV - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
