We've often heard the old expression “If at first you don't succeed, try, try again”. And it's not a bad creed to live by, as no one really wants to be a quitter. But if things don't turn out the way we want them to, we tend to feel like a failure and often just want to give up. Sometimes we even fail ourselves by making bad choices or not living up to what we know to be right. When a relationship fails, we're fired from a job, or our children don't turn out the way we hoped, we get all discouraged and start blaming others or ourselves for why we failed. It's not a good feeling, but the truth is, we all fail at some time or another. People are not perfect, nor do they live perfect lives. We are all human and it's inevitable that we will make mistakes from time to time. In fact, there's only one guarantee in life and that is God's love for us. His love will never change, for He loves us no matter what with an unending, unconditional, unfathomable love. God hates the sin, but loves the sinner. The good news is that we serve a God who is a forgiving God and despite our failures, when we repent, He lovingly embraces us and leads us in the right direction that we should go. The only real failure would be to refuse God's help.

2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Romans 8:26 KJV - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 KJV - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep [you] from evil.

1 Corinthians 1:26-27 KJV - For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
