Prayer is a powerful way to communicate with our Heavenly Father, but we need to remember when presenting our request before God that it's important to pray God's will be done. Sometimes we forget that part, but if we knew the end from the beginning like God does, we would never want anything other than God's way. There are times when our prayers are answered instantly, and other times we must wait. When our answer is delayed, instead of being frustrated and worried, have faith that God knows best. We may not understand, but God does, and He alone knows what is best for us. He knows all the answers to the whys in our life, but it isn't always in our best interest to know the reasons for the delay, or to even know the answer to the why. We must trust our Heavenly Father to give us the best answer. Whatever you're struggling with today be persistent in prayer, don't give up, keep trusting, praying for God's will and claim Psalms 40:1 “I waited patiently for the Lord, and he inclined unto me and heard my cry”.

Text:

Matthew 21:22 NLT

You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Matthew 7:11 NIV

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Psalm 34:17 NLT

The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.

Hebrews 4:16 NLT

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
