When passionate prayer becomes part of our daily lifestyle, don't be surprised if God occasionally brings circumstances into our lives to perfect our characters and prepare us to be an even greater witness for Him. When our love for Jesus is our highest priority, we are willing to follow Him no matter what the cost. No one wants to go through tough times. We don't pray for God to test us with trials, heartaches, poverty, or pain, and let's be honest, being pushed out of our comfort zone can be, well, downright scary. And yet, God knows each one of us personally, He knows our weaknesses and the secret sins we struggle with. He alone knows what it's going to take for us to become the person of priceless character, so that we are ready for heaven. So go ahead, take the leap of full surrender and allow God to bend you, shape you any way He wants to. You have nothing to fear because God is with you each step of the way.
Psalm 31:19 KJV - [Oh] how great [is] thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
Matthew 6:26 KJV - Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Psalm 37:4-6 KJV - Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
Deuteronomy 28:1-5 KJV - And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe [and] to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the field. Blessed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed [shall be] thy basket and thy store.
