If your days are spent running from one thing to the next, and it seems you fall into bed each night feeling like you have accomplished nothing, then it's time to talk with God about setting your priorities. With God in charge of your calendar your life will be much more fulfilling, and you'll spend your time doing things that are worthwhile and pleasing to Him instead of those that steal your time and energy. You can also enjoy peace and calm, knowing that you have nothing to fear because God is leading and guiding each minute of your day. Allowing God to set your priorities also gives you the power to resist selfish impulses and useless distractions that the devil puts in your way. With Holy Spirit guidance, you can set goals and trust that they are the right ones. You can claim this promise in Psalms 32:8: ”I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go”. “I will counsel you and watch over you”. You never have to be afraid of making the wrong decision when you allow God to take charge of your life, because He will give you divine direction as to where your time and attention is best directed. You just can't go wrong when heaven is your goal and your number one focus is a closer walk with Jesus, because that is what really matters.
